Altus Grape Festival

July 30, 2005 a small group of us met at Hardees in Harrison, Arkansas
for a quick breakfast then off we rode to the Altus Grape Festival in Altus, Arkansas
the Wine Capical of Arkansas via the Pig Trail. We arrived at the festival a little after
11:00 where we ran into a few folks from the Fayetteville Star Chapter 250.

We wondered around the festival for awhile looking at the tents with lots of cool stuff
for sell and listened to the music. The guys found a picnic table in the shade where the
ladies later found them.

It was getting quite warm so we decided to walk across the street to Fat Tuesdays
for air-conditioning and a lunch where we shared our table with some nice folks and
met Savannah, why she kept going into the mens bathroom we're not sure.
Hiya Savannah!!!

After lunch we hopped on the bikes and rode in a round about way home going back up
the Pig Trail, through the small town of Dutton (don't blink of you'll miss it). At every stop
we were looking for shade. At one of our shady spots we met even more nice folks.

Riding through Deer and north on Highway 7 S. we made our final stop at
Scooters Restaurant located at The Hub in Marble Falls, Arkansas.

Here's some pictures of our wanderings.
