This road parallels the Mulberry River for 20 miles of beautiful scenery and great places to stop for a picnic by the riverside.*** WARNING**
There is 2/10th's of a mile of gravel road on the Mulberry stretch.

From the Missouri Line to Mountain View, Arkansas
Intersects with Highway's 412, 341 (Push Mountain Road), 14, 177 and 201.
Arkansas Highway 5 runs from the Arkansas-Missouri border through Mountain Home to such places as Norfork, Calico Rock and Mountain View. It plays tag with the White River. Highway 5 was once a super highway of commerce in days gone by.
Highway 5 runs through the mountains of the eastern Ozarks, a more rural part of the region. The road is winding and scenic, it takes you to some unique and interesting places in the Ozarks.
