Har-Ber Village is one of the largest antique museums in the United
States, located on
the shores of Grand Lake O' The Cherokees in Grove, Oklahoma. Built as a gift to the
public from
Harvey and Bernice Jones, Har-Ber Village is a restonstructed turn-of-the century village
of over
one hundred buildings and collections.
On the chilly Saturday morning of April 23, 2005 our small group met at the Tourist
Information
Center in Harrison, Arkansas and rode to Grove, Oklahoma. After having lunch at the
Kountry
Kitchen Kafe where we all ordered Chicken Fried Steak, we headed to Har-Ber Village where we
checked out all the log cabins and buildings that were filled with beautiful antiques
showing lifestyles of
the people that lived and worked in them.
We hope you enjoy the pictures we took on our visit to Har-Ber Village.
A few more pictures thanks to Dennis.
