Yamaha of Harrison's

November 15, 2008

It was a COLD! morning and spitting snow as we all gathered at Yamaha of Harrison for their Hot Winter Nights Open House.  Adam, Eli and all the great folks at Yamaha of Harrison offered games, hot wings, hot dogs along with giving away a Yamaha Grizzly 350 2x4 and lots of door prizes to all that braved the cold and stopped in.

Star Chapter 298 helped at the open house by sponsoring a poker run and 50/50 drawing with proceeds being donated to Hospice of the Hills.

A very nice young man and 4-time National Champion ATV Racer, Kendall Webb # 33 from Branson, Missouri was trying to stay warm while handing out personally autographed posters.

We had live music provided by   who play a wide range of Rock'N'Roll, Dance, Country and Rhythm and Blues.  The music was great and everyone enjoyed listening while hanging out.

Here's a few pictures that were taken throughout the day.

Meeting a few days later at Yamaha of Harrison, we presented
proceeds from our poker run to Hospice of the Hills, Marge Doyle (volunteer coordinator for Hospice of the Hills), Kathy Brown (interim Hospice of the Hills department manager) and Linda K. Peter (Hospice of the Hills Board of Directors).
