October 22nd, 2005
On the morning of October 22nd, a small group gathered at the Travel Information Center north of Harrison for a ride to Mt. Magazine State Park.
They stopped at the Tyler Bend Station on the Mulberry River and then headed south when they discovered their map had been misplaced. After asking for directions; the group somehow missed Mt. Magazine altogether and ended up in Hot Springs, AR where they spent the night at the Villa Rose Resort and Spa before riding home on Sunday.
The ride down on Saturday was nice but riding home on Sunday was a different story. With the wind blowing 300 miles an hour everyone was frozen when they stopped in Jasper for lunch where everyone had a bowl of chili before heading on home.
