** Northwest Arkansas Ride Maps **

Greetings!!

My name is Landus. As Road Captain of Star Chapter 298 in Harrison, Arkansas, I’d like to welcome you to our website and one of the best kept secrets in the country........Motorcycling Northwest Arkansas.

You will find numerous magazine articles of great rides all over the country but rarely ever see one written about our area. That’s what makes this such a great secret!

Unless you’ve been here or are a local, you don’t know what great rides these hills and back roads have to offer. With endless combinations of the open roads in the River Delta to switchbacks on the Pigtrail and all kinds of sweepers in between. Whatever kind of riding you want can be found here. The hardest part is deciding where to go first.

Most of our main highways are surfaced with asphalt, but the rural state and county roads are "chip and seal". This is a real good surface but with road construction and pothole repair being done in the summer, be careful. If it looks like there is road work going on where you are riding be on the lookout for loose gravel.

For the purpose of our site, I’ve put together a list of some of the best roads to travel in Northwest Arkansas. From the Oklahoma state line, along Interstate 40, over to Little Rock and north to the Missouri state line near Mountain Home, Arkansas. By piecing these roads together you can make countless combinations of excellent rides that take anywhere from an hour to a few days through some of the most beautiful and scenic parts of Arkansas.

There are just to many roads to list them all and some are just, well.... secret! If you come to visit the Ozarks, enjoy the scenery and hospitality of the local folks. If ya ask real nice, we might just tell ya about one of our "secret" rides and if ya don’t mind, we just might go along with you!   : )

I hope these maps can be helpful to you, so enjoy your ride and be safe.

*note*

All maps show approximate drive time and mileage only. They do not allow for gas stops or other planned activities.
