It was a cool Saturday morning as a small group of riders
from Star Chapter 298 met at the Tourist Information Center
on the north side of Harrison.
Except for being very windy, it was a beautiful day to ride.
Upon arriving for their visit at 1:00 p.m., gift bags were
unloaded and everyone prepared to go inside the hospital.
Our group was greeted by Cathy from the VA Hospital
who led the chapter through the hospital where we visited
with patients and their families, leaving gift bags for each
patient. Everyone seemed to enjoy our chapter being there.
During the visit to the Phychiatric Ward we sang Christmas
Carols before having to be evacuate the hospital for a fire drill.
Riding home on Highway 62 through Eureka Springs
it was dark by the time the group made it back home
but everyone had a good time.
